Two news items this week that highlight how serious our planet’s situation is and reinforce the need to bring down the system:

The Washington Post has reported on two computer modeling studies concluding that greenhouse gas emissions must fall to zero by 2050 in order to avoid global warming catastrophe. That’s right: zip, nothing, no human carbon dioxide emissions at all. As the article notes, this far outstrips the pitiful half-measures being put forward by politicians and even many enviro groups.

Even scientists are saying it: the system’s got to go!

And it’s not just scientists. According to recently released survey results, nearly one in 10 British teenagers say they’re willing to take part in guerilla activity to defend the environment.
