UniStar Nuclear Energy has submitted combined license applications to the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to build new nuclear power plants in Oswego, NY, Calvert Cliffs, MD and Fulton, MO, and is planning to submit another for somewhere in Pennsylvania. The NRC has up to 42 months to review the applications.

Also involved in the proposed Oswego plant are Constellation Energy and EDF Group.
